Author Guidelines

A scientific article submitted for publication in the cross sectoral subject collection "Economic issues of agricultural development of Belarus" must correspond to the theme of the collection, be an original work that has not been published before, and comply with these rules.

I. Structure of the article:

1) UDC index;

2) initials and surnames of authors; place of work; name of the settlement, country (for foreign authors);

3) the title of the article;

4) abstract (recommended average size is not more than 500 characters);

5) keywords or phrases (the recommended number is 5–10, separated from each other by a semicolon);

6) metatext data (paragraphs 2-5) in English, for English-language articles - in Russian (Belarusian);

7) the main text of the article must comply with the following requirements:

  • structured: introduction, materials and methods, research results, conclusion;
  • prepared in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 5 “Instructions on the procedure for issuing a qualifying scientific work (dissertation) for the degree of candidate and doctor of science, an abstract and publications on the topic of the dissertation” (approved by the Resolution of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus dated February 28, 2014 No. 3);
  • typed in the Microsoft Word text editor, Times New Roman font is used for typing, size is 14; interval - 1.5, the volume of a scientific article - 0.35-1.00 author's sheet (14-40 thousand printed characters, including tables and figures - up to 10);
  • tables are created directly in Microsoft Word; formulas - in the formula editor Microsoft Equation Editor in Times New Roman font, Latin characters are typed in italics; diagrams, graphs, diagrams and other graphic material - using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio and are presented both in the text of the article and in separate files in the format used to create them;

8) the list of sources used is drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus of June 25, 2014 No. 159 (as amended by the order of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus of September 8, 2016 No. 206). Bibliographic records are arranged in citation order or alphabetically; references in the text are given by a serial number in square brackets.

Reference to unpublished sources is not allowed;

9) date of receipt of the article by the Editorial Board;

10) information about the authors: last name, first name, patronymic in full; scientific

degree, rank, position, full name of the organization (place of work or study in the nominative case), correspondent postal address and telephone number; email address for each author;

11) information about the authors in English.

II. Articles in Russian, Belarusian and English are accepted for publication and are submitted to the Editorial Board in electronic and paper (signed by all authors) media.

Permission for publication is attached to the article (a cover letter from the directorate (rector) of the organization or an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the academic council, department).

III. The scientific article is considered by the members of the Editorial Board for the purpose of carrying out of the requirements for registration. If the specified criterion is met, the article is sent for independent review, which is carried out by doctors and candidates of sciences, experts in the subject of peer-reviewed materials. Reviews are not required for works whose team of authors includes academicians and corresponding members.

IV. The Editorial Board does not guarantee the publication of all submitted materials. The article will not be published (without additional informing the authors) if:

  • the requirements for the design of the article in accordance with the "Rules for Authors" are not met;
  • the fact of publishing or sending the material to other publications was revealed;
  • in the course of consideration by the Editorial Board or reviewer, facts of illegal borrowing were revealed;
  • has a negative review.

V. The editors reserve the right to edit the article without notifying the authors.

VI. By submitting an article to the Editorial Board, the author confirms that the submitted material is original, not previously published in other publications, and the editorial office is given a perpetual right to design, publish, transfer the full-text version of the collection (with the published material of the author) in electronic form in the public domain on the Internet on sites selected or created by the editors in any databases, including the RSCI.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).

  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

Privacy Statement

Specified when registering the names and addresses will be used solely for technical purposes of a contact with the Author or reviewers (editors) when preparing the article for publication. Private data will not be shared with other individuals and organizations.
