Abstract

The research results of theoretical and methodological approaches to assessing the level of development and efficiency of food market are presented in the article. The algorithm for comprehensive assessment of the sugar market efficiency is proposed. It provides the analysis in the context of the value chain, taking into account the existing level of competition in the market and an integral assessment based on the methodological approach developed by the author. The sugar market efficiency in the Republic of Belarus is assessed, significant trends, features and factors of its development in the modern conditions are identified.
